Biography

I graduated from National Sun Yat-Sen University, where neighbors marine. As the location of the university, I chose marine biotechnology and resource for my major, which belongs to the college of marine science. The classes of this major made me understand the ocean, a broad and mysterious world which is full of secret and surprise. When I was a sophomore, aiming to realize more about oceans, I joined a marine biomedical lab to gain knowledge about therapeutic effect of marine natural products used to treat arthritis. In that lab I have learned how to observe animal behavior, analyze data and a few methods of blotting. The behavior of people in the lab, however, is the most interesting things to me!

In Lien Lab, I want to combine marine biology and electrophysiology to solve more challenging problems in neuroscience.
